When did you start working for AHS?
December 2018.
What do you like most about your job?
I work with some very incredible people who have made travel nurse recruiting their callings. They pour their love of the industry and know how into you, when turning to them with obstacles and challenges. The environment at AHS is that of family and there is always laughter and encouragement. Also, a healthy dose of competition. I have had the pleasure to meet and make long term friendships with nurses I have placed, as well as a few I haven’t yet. It’s a career I’m proud to call my own.
What type of certifications/specialties do you work with?
RN- Emergency Department, Med/Surg, Behavioral Health/Psych, NICU, ICU, PCU, and Home Health LPN- LTC and Med/Surg
What are some of your hobbies?
My most favorite hobby is sewing. I can take a piece of fabric and see the finished product in my head, before I even cut it. I sewed 2 of my babies crib sets by hand, with need and thread, before I purchased my first sewing machine. I ran an on-line baby boutique from 2008 to 2015. I also enjoy Netflix series binging. I love a good road trip!
What are three interesting facts about you?
I am the mom to 3 of the coolest teenagers! I grew up in a family of 10 in western Wyoming, and moved to Texas in 2000. I prefer road trips over flying. During the 2020 pandemic,, I made a 1200 mile drive, to see family. in 18 hours.. 5 times. 4, by myself. I love to drive!

Walking On Cars!
How would you describe your personality?
I consider myself an outgoing introvert. I thrive on competition, and working under pressure. I enjoy meeting new people and treating them as if I’ve known them for years.
Who is someone that inspires you, and why?
My friend, Leanne. She has survived 2 nightmares of losing a spouse and son to suicide, 3 years apart. She is a widow to 6 surviving children and pushes forward everyday with a warriors heart. She is kind and caring and inspires so many by her perseverance. Her perspective on life is a reminder not to take the ones we love for granted and to live a life full of authenticity. I’m grateful to know her.
